Caramel Apples
50 caramels (1
bag)
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips
(optional)
1 pinch cloves (optional)
5 apples
5 popsicle sticks
1 sheet of aluminum foil
non-stick cooking spray
Melt caramels
in a saucepan along with
water over medium-low heat, stirring
constantly.
Add chocolate chips and cloves if desired
and stir until completely melted.
Insert popsicle sticks into apples and swirl
in melted caramel. Tilt the pan and use a
spoon to completely cover apples. Place
on aluminum foil that has been sprayed
with non-stick cooking spray.
