Family Craft Tips

Plan the Family Crafts Ahead of Time - Nothing ruins family time when mom is stressed and unable to find the supplies. Craft kits are a great way to minimize the stress and time
involved. If craft kits aren't for you, then plan your family craft in advance and have all
the supplies on hand and ready to go.

Do Some Prep Work - Some of the family crafts will go smoother (especially if you have
younger children) if a parent does a little prep work before the family craft night. Set up
the craft table, do some pre-cutting or painting of materials, and read through the
directions.

Have Snacks Available - Kids get hungry! Remember to have some healthy snacks readily
available at the craft table or nearby. Avoid greasy and chocolate snacks because the
grease can get on the craft and leave marks.
