Is my personal information secure?

Yes!  We take the security of our customers very seriously and only use the most up to date security software.  During check out customers will see a red triangle in the lower right corner of the shopping cart.  This logo ensures you are in the secure shopping mode.

How do you use my personal information?

Families with Purpose is committed to protecting your privacy.  We use the information we request about you to process orders and to provide timely service.  We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information for marketing purposes.  If in the future, should we change this policy we will notify you via our website.
 

What if I don't like the product I ordered?  Can I return it?

Families with Purpose is committed to our customers' satisfaction.  Outlined below is our return policy.

Families with Purpose accepts returns within 30 days of the order as long as the item is unopened and unused.  We do not accept returns past 30 days or of opened and used items.
Customers can return items to us within 30 days of purchase to Families with Purpose 5690 Whitfield Troy MI 48098. 
Upon receipt of the item, Families with Purpose will credit the customer's account for the purchase price of the items returned.
If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item (you will be refunded your original purchase price once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase.  You do not have to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order.
Families with Purpose does not reimburse for shipping costs

We make every effort to ensure your order is processed properly.  If your order does not arrive as expected, please notify us and we will make every effort to correct any mistake and ship you the proper merchandise. 

When will my order ship?

In most cases, all orders are shipped within 1 - 2 business days of when the order is placed.

How much will shipping cost?

We offer FREE ground shipping on orders $50 and over shipped within the continental United States.  Shipping discount will be automatically applied during checkout and is limited to the Continental US excluding shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.

Families with Purpose ships all of its products via United States Postal Service (USPS).  Shipping costs are based on a number of factors including the weight of the item, distance shipped, packaging costs, and discount offers. 

Families with Purpose does ship outside the United States and ships all packages via the United States Postal Service.  Shipping costs are based on a number of factors including the weight of the item, distance shipped, packaging costs, and discount offers.  For orders outside the United States, orders are shipped either First Class International (weight limit is 4 lbs) and International Priority Mail.  The estimated shipping times for First Class International is 10 - 21 business days and 6 - 15 business days for International Priority Mail. 

Customers are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from Families with Purpose, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Do you ship to APO and FPO addresses?

Families with Purpose does ship to APO and FPO addresses via the United States Postal Service.  Mail transit times to APO/FPO locations vary due to circumstances on the ground beyond our control.  Parcel Post can take 4-10 weeks to arrive and 2-6 weeks for Priority Mail.  The Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA) monitors mail to overseas U.S. Military locations. For a status of your package, please contact MPSA at 1-800-810-6098 or email them at MPSAOperationsGroup@hqda.army.mil.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Google Wallet, and PayPal.  All online payments are processed through our secure server within 24 hours or receipt of your order.

Can I republish some of your ideas, articles, and content on my website or in my newsletter?

Organizations are welcome to republish any of the ideas, articles, and content on our website or blog as long as the following two criteria are met:

  • The following byline MUST be included: Families with Purpose is an online resource dedicated to helping families build their best life. To learn more about what they do and find additional ideas, visit them at www.familieswithpurpose.com.
  • You must notify us that you will be using the content.  Simply send us an email with a brief description of your organization and which content you will be republishing.
