The Gather 'Round Restaurant game is a whole new way to enjoy restaurant meals with your family. This restaurant game will add fun to your waiting time and lots of laughs to your meal while opening up the family to conversation and closer ties. Included in this game is the Gather 'Round game unit with push-button action, 96 restaurant game cards with 60 games to play while you wait and 36 games to play while you eat, 3 travel game cards each with 12 easy to play travel games (36 games), and 2 AA batteries. How to Play the Gather 'Round Restaurant Games

Once you are seated with your family, place a "While You Wait" card on top of the game unit (line up the arrow on the card with the arrow on the game unit), press the button, watch where the light stops - then play that game.

Take turns pressing the button!

These games are quick, so you can play several while you wait for your meal. A few games require menus so hold on to them while you wait.

Once your meal is served, play any of the "While You Eat" games.

The Travel Games are simple too - once in the car, have a passenger press the button and enjoy!

While this game is designed for families with kids 5 years old and up, you may want to change some games slightly so that they are easier or more challenging depending on the ages of your children.

Sample Gather 'Round Restaurant Games

Here is a sample of 12 of the 96 Restaurant games.

Guess your waiter's favorite color. Ask him/her

Draw a picture or word on someone's arm with your finger; have them guess what it is.

Everyone guess how many sugar packets are in the caddy

Fill in the blank: I'm so hungry I could eat a ...

Name a food and place with the same letter using the alphabet (i.e. Apple, Atlanta)

Say a letter aloud; someone else name something in the restaurant that starts with that letter.

Make up a short poem/song about something on the table

Everyone guess what they think is the most filling item on the menu and why

Using a foreign language, name as many things in the restaurant as you can.

Have someone close their eyes; hide something under a napkin for them to guess

Find the word "fries" on your menu

Pass out a fork & spoon; whoever has the fork asks the person with the spoon any question
