  • Start everyone off with a healthy breakfast every day.
  • Pack nutritious snacks for your kids such as fresh fruit, sliced raw vegetables, healthy raw nut mixes, or low sugar yogurts.
  • Use water bottles filled with fresh water to help your family stay away from sugary juices and pops.  Products to help with this: Children's Water Bottles, Klean Kanteen Water Bottles
  • Try and eliminate or reduce the amount of processed food in your diets.  Try and use foods as close as possible to their natural state.  Processed foods tend to be less healthy and filled with salt, sugar, and preservatives.
  • Avoid buying goods high in sugar or high fructose corn syrup.
  • Take time to understand what an appropriate portion size is for yourself and children.
  • Take time to understand the different food groups and recommend serving sizes of each one.
