Pick science experiments that are age appropriate. Kids
will lose interest quickly if the experiment is either too
easy or too difficult
Read through the directions prior to doing the science
experiment with your kids. This will allow for the
experiment to go more smoothly.
Assign age appropriate jobs for each of the kids or if
available, let each child complete their own science
experiment.
Gather all necessary materials before including the kids.
This leads to less confusion and less wait time for the kids.
Supplement the science experiment with a book, worksheet, or
puzzle to help reinforce the concepts learned.
