How to Make Getting Your Daily Do List Done Easier
Keeping track of all the things that need done in a busy family is no small task. It takes organization, focus, and a lot of energy to tackle the never ending list of things to do. Here are a few tips to help getting your do list done:
- Take time every night to make out your to do list for the next day.
- Keep your Things To Do List pad in a spot where you will be using it the most. For example, if you work outside the home keep a copy either in your office or briefcase; not sitting on the kitchen counter where you can't easily grab it when needed.
- Tear off a page from the to do list pad and attach it to either your refrigerator or kitchen bulletin board. Show your kids and spouse how to add things to the list.
- When adding things to your to do list, be mindful of your schedule for the day. If you have a lot of commitments then you probably won't have a lot of time to get things done or run a lot of errands. Don't set yourself up to fail by making a do list that no human can possibly get done with their sanity in check.
- Use the back of each to do list sheet to make any special notes or jot down any important phone numbers or addresses.
