How to Play Tic Tac Toe

Turbo Tic Tac Toe – Object of the Game

Get three large Xs or Os in a row by winning mini games of Tic Tac Toe.

Turbo Tic Tac Toe – Set Up

Set out the dice, the small and large Xs and Os, and the game board. The large game board is made up of nine small Tic Tac Toe boards. Each player selects either X or O and collects their pieces. The player whose birthday is coming up next goes fi rst.

Turbo Tic Tac Toe – How to Play

On your turn, roll the dice and place, flip, or swap small Xs and Os on the board. Each piece you play must go in a different game box.

For each die, if you roll a…

1 - Place one small piece in any game box.

2 - Place two small pieces on the board, one each in any two different game boxes.

0 – Do nothing

F - Flip one of your opponent’s pieces over.

S - Swap one of your pieces on the board with one of your opponent’s pieces within the same game box.

For Example,

If you roll a 1 and a 2, place a total of three pieces on the board – they go in three different game boxes.

If you roll an F and a 1, flip over one of your opponent’s pieces and place one piece in any other game box.

If you roll an S and a 2, swap one of your existing pieces with one of your opponent’s pieces in the same game box, and place two pieces in two other, different game boxes.

Turbo Tic Tac Toe – How to Win

If you get three small Xs or Os in a row, remove all the pieces from the box and replace them with one of your large Xs or Os. This box is yours for the rest of the game!

The first player to get three large Xs or Os in a row wins!
