Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients:
- 3 boneless pork chops
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
Supporting Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Optional Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- ½ cup mushrooms or spinach
Instructions
- Pat the 3 boneless pork chops dry with paper towels. Generously sprinkle 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon pepper across both sides of your meat.
- Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat at 375°F. Carefully place seasoned pork chops into hot pan and sear for 3-4 minutes until a golden-brown crust develops.
- Flip pork chops and cook the opposite side for another 3-4 minutes. Ensure internal temperature reaches 145°F using a meat thermometer.
- Remove pork chops from skillet and set aside. Reduce heat to medium-low at 250°F. Pour 1 cup heavy cream into the same pan, scraping browned bits from bottom.
- Sprinkle remaining 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning into cream. Whisk continuously for 2-3 minutes until sauce starts to thicken and bubbles gently.
- Optional: Stir in 2 tablespoons cream cheese if you want extra richness. Gently incorporate until sauce becomes smooth.
- Return pork chops to skillet, spooning creamy sauce over each piece. Let everything simmer together for 2 additional minutes.
- Transfer pork chops to serving plates. Drizzle remaining ranch cream sauce generously over the top before serving.
Notes
- Use thick-cut pork chops to ensure they stay juicy and don’t dry out during cooking.
- Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer, aiming for 145°F for perfectly cooked, tender meat.
- For a lighter version, swap heavy cream with half-and-half or Greek yogurt to reduce calories.
- Gluten-free diets can use homemade ranch seasoning or a certified gluten-free ranch mix to keep the recipe safe.
